There are many ways that businesses in town can participate in Candlelit Dartmouth:
Stay open until 8pm on Friday 11th December We have changed the timings of the procession on Friday - meaning that there is more shopping time. We need everyone to support late night opening and are advertising this in the local press and on various tourism and local websites.
Do a window display based upon a Christmas carol or song Email info@candlelitdartmouth.co.uk or phone 01803 839000 to tell us what you are doing. There will be a prize for the best window and also for visitors to guess all the titles - ensuring they make their way around the town. We need to know by the end of November so we can do the entry forms please.
Put on a special offer This can be a discount over the event, a free goodie bag with purchase, whatever you like. We will advertise this for you in a flyer. Please email info@candlelitdartmouth.co.uk or phone 01803 839000 to tell us what you are doing by the end of November.
Hang your lantern Ensure you have your lantern hung and lit outside your premises by 5.30pm on Friday 12th. We will bring you tea-lights to last you for Saturday too. New businesses will be given a new lantern. If you can't find yours or want to buy more at £4.50, please see Sarah at Baxters in Foss Street or Sarah at Distinctly Living in Lower Street.
Promote the event to your customers now We have postcards and posters available. If you can, please put postcards in carrier bags. If you need more, please see Sarah at Baxters on Foss Street.
